Hello Friends...Not too much time to pick up the hook over the Easter weekend, but I did manage to find a few minutes to play around. I've become a little obsessed lately with crochet triangle shawls. There are so may great patterns out there, but something I've always wanted to try was a granny triangle. Check it out with just a few rows below...keep going on this and it'll turn into a beautiful and cozy shawl. It's also amazingly simple to make, by the way, and with chunky weight yarn, it will whip up in no time.
Caron Cakes Shawl
Hello Friends...I'm down to the last few rows on my Caron Cakes shawl. I'm really happy with the way it's turned out now that I'm almost finished. I've enjoyed working with the Caron Cakes yarn for this project as well. It's been easy to work with and I quite like the abrupt colour changes (I know some don't care for that). With this project, the yarn looks great. I also have some tassels to attempt before I'm all done. Stay tuned for photos once it's finished...
Granny Square Blanket
Hello Friends...just an update on my back to basics granny square blanket. I'm loving how the grey and cream colours work together. After making a bunch of squares, I've started on weaving in ends. I'm thinking of joining with a sc join, probably in the cream. I'll keep you all posted. As always, thanks for stopping by and Happy Friday!
Colourful Cowl
Hello Friends...I want to share with you this beautiful crochet cowl pattern by Stephanie over at All About Ami. It's a super easy dc v-stitch design that works up quickly. For mine, I used Loops & Threads Charisma, one of my favourite bulky yarns. Check it out below:
