Charity Scarves

Hello Friends...These lovely scarves are part of my Charity Crochet series this fall. I'll be sending them off to Ontario Knits for Hope in the coming weeks to support their fall campaign. I made them using Bernat Chunky, which is a super soft acrylic yarn that is nice and warm. It's a basic alternating sc, dc stitch pattern.  They were so quick to make up!!

Stash Busting for Charity

Charity Challenge

Hello Friends...here's the finished baby blanket I've been working on for The Crochet Crowd Feel Good Charity Challenge.  It's called The Cluster Baby Waves Blanket and it was super fun and easy to make. I used Loops & Threads, Big Ombre.  I've donated the blanket to my local Crochet For Cancer chapter.

From The Middle Blanket

Hello Friends...Here's another great baby blanket that I've just completed for Project Linus. I followed along with Mikey's tutorial from The Crochet Crowd.  He has many great tutorials on their Youtube channel, they are worth checking out!

Terry Fox Walk

Hello Friends,

Yesterday we did the Terry Fox Run (Walk) with the school.  Such a great fundraiser for cancer research!  The kids were pumped and the day was just gorgeous, considering they'd been calling for rain all week.  We walked down the Humber River, near the school and up through the neighbourhood, back to the school.  We were fortunate enough to see some salmon swimming up the river...needless to say, this caused much excitement!  All in all it took us just over an hour...a good walk; and the kids could really hoof it!
