Baby Luca Blanket

Hello Friends, here's my latest baby blanket that I made for a dear friend who recently had a baby boy. I'm calling it the Baby Luca blanket after him.  Done with a mixture of alternating bobbles and rows of sc's, it turned out great!  Pattern to come, but for now, check it these photos:

  1. Interesting pattern. A blanket with this bobble pattern would be especially awesome for young, autistic children. Children with autism often benefit from extra tactile experiences, and this blanket addresses that need. I wonder if you can market this design and product? Thank you for sharing your patterns!

  5. Thanks Ann, so glad you like my site and the Baby Luca Blanket. Unfortunately I have not written up a pattern for this blanket, time has just got away from me. If I do, I will let you know for sure. The basic stitch, however is the bobble stitch. If you look on google or you tube, you can find free instructions on how to do this stitch. For this blanket, I stagger the bobbles, but it may be easier to line them up the same on each row. Sorry I can't be of more help at this time.
